Charleston Water System Citizens Academy at Waring Senior Center The Citizens Academy is designed to expand customer access to Charleston Water System, and help participants become knowledgeable about key water issues, and daily operational activities and challenges through interaction with CWS executives and leaders. "Follow a drop of water" through the utility's operational processes, beginning with source water and finishing with when wastewater is treated and released into the Charleston Harbor.
